  • Yesterday mine rhymed with stick lol :rotfl:

Nothing surprises me with Amazon, but I won't give up...a phone call a day for a week might help earn me £300....but seems to be going on forever!!!

Sun is shining here, I've been to the gym, in work and have an early finish!

Still don't know how I am going to vote today, trying to educate myself at the last minute!!

NSD didn't happen yesterday as spent £21 ordering a gift for my friends new baby as got her baby shower in a few weeks, was half price and didn't want to lose out and £20 was my budget, so not too bad....the £100 contingency fund will def need to come into play this month I'm sure.................

I think a written complaint to Amazon might be the way to go - then you can show what they owe you and it forces everything to be done in black and white. Heck, you should even push for compensation for the time they are wasting, and depriving you of your money.
Lovely day here, off to vote and then work with hopefully just a LSD (little spend day) as I need a few groceries,

  • Forgot that this evening I am meeting my friend to go a walk and she is bringing me those walking boots that she bought and forgot to return. I have semi budgeted for these out of my personal spending but after this I only have £20 left for the next 3 weeks. I am paying her £50, she paid £90 and think that was reduced from £160 so a bargain I suppose...just need to actually get into proper walking now!

This weekend my marine is home for the weekend so think I am seeing him on Friday night and going to use my pizza express vouchers maybe or we might just have something at home....depends how tired he is after driving back from Scotland....and might suggest a walk on Saturday as its free and makes use of my new boots lol - which are so unattractive!!!

An alternative, would be to reach out on social media, nothing like a bit of embarrassment to get things moving. But I'd personally try the other methods first, but I'm a bit of a wuss and want a quiet-ish life!

I know the paranoia is taking over, again but you are sure that call was from Amazon, I hope? It's just the phrase, "processing your refund" has been used by scammers masquerading as bank staff, is all. Just looking out for you, hope this does not offend.
  • That never even crossed my mind Smodlet...but it was def them! I have had a few calls from this man called David who is utterly hopeless but he at least calls me back so need to keep my cool! Plus there would be no money for them to take anyway lol :rotfl:

Some how I missed why Amazon owes you money. You sent something back maybe? I do agree with joey about writing them.

Vote your gut feeling. What else can one do?

A marine to look forward to is a good thing!
