How Low Will FTSE go?

I would be interested to know the wisdom of the money saving crowd!
The FTSE is now about 17% off the high of 7104.
If you were to make a guess, what will be the lowest closing price before the end of the year?

Ryan Futuristics could tell you exactly what it will go down to, but sadly he does not post here any more.0

Hi savermoore. This is the Savings & Investments sub-forum not the crystal ball sub-forum!"If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett

My guess would be that the FTSE100 has already hit it's lowest point this year and will end up somewhere in the low to mid 6000s. I wouldn't invest in it though (and I don't).0

What are your reasons for not wanting to invest in the FTSE100? I was going to invest £4000 in a FTSE100 index tracker in April.0 -

I have been through too many corrections and crashes to make the mistake of trying to guess. Single drops, double dips, long drawn out declines, short, sharp declines..... Nobody knows what its going to be.
17% is nothing though. Its not even classed as a crash at 17%.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
