  • What a very sad story for all of you.

I have no advice to give but wish you well and hope you get things sorted out soon and have some kind of contact with your children.

More to the point, it shows the type of person you are.

Frankly I think the OP is a complete scumbag who has seen the opportunity to get some cash

I dont for a second think he is bothered about the children because as said if their caretaker has died any normal parent would be far more concerned about whom is looking after them

Furthermore there are major inconsistencies in your story, for example why would the benefits pay the mortgage in your name?

Go to a solicitor im sure they will get you the money your owed and stop seeking sympathy and pretending that you care about anything other than the cash

FRANKLY this post is not only opinionated, judgemental and downright disgusting it goes 100% agaist the whole ethos of MSE.

Your post does nothing to help the OP or answer the question he had - your post should be deleted and you should be severly repremanded!

OP ~ I hope that it all works out for the best :)

That says more about the ethos os this site

Here to answer questions for a bunch of scammers and idiots

Yes there are genuine people but they are far outweighed by the immoral scammers looking for advice on how to scam people

Im sure this guys children will be very happy when their penniless and in care based on MSE advice

This guy can claim he cares all he wants but his actions show otherwise

OK - here's a thought ~ if MSE is so bad why are you here???

You are wrong on so many levels and the view you have on the ethos of this site is obviously made up!!

In case you had not noticed THIS IS THE MORTAGE BOARD ~ ergo the OP's question being mortgage related.

If he needs help with dealing with the issues regarding the children then I am sure that he will post on the correct board for advice. Not only may he not require advice but he sure as h*ll doesnt have to explain himself to you either!!

I hope that he has the good sense to treat your comments with the contempt that they deserve in an already stressful situation.

Really....have you actually counted? What is the ratio of immoral scammers to genuine people?

my intension is to see that the children still have a roof over their heads and im trying to establish some kind of communications just to see that the csa payments get through....

The CSA has a dreadful reputation I know, but if you are paying maintenance via them, should they be the first port of call for info on financial issues?

Another priority is surely to establish who is taking care of the children now, whether or not your ex appointed guardians in her will , and what your rights are in the wake of her death. Somebody obviously needs to get in touch with the children/their guardians on your behalf and in the absence of any suitable family member or mutual friend, I guess it will have to be your solicitor.
    Trying to keep it simple...;)

I don't have any advise. I just like to say your post did bring a tear to my eye and I wish you the best of luck.

To the negative posters - you may be right, I don't think you are, I certainly hope you aren't. But it does say everything about our society when someone can't ask for advice without people questioning whether there is a hidden agenda.
