    Whilst you recheck what it says, see if you can find the word, "penalty" anywhere. I will be very surprised if you do because it is not a penalty. It is not a fine either. It's an invite from a scammer dressed up to look official in the hope that you are mug enough to pay them.

    The first letter which I received with POPLA no is 22.12.15.

    Right. This is VERY urgent.

    Because POPLA add up to seven days on top of the 28 - I think - your code MAY still work today and possibly tomorrow if you are very lucky so get this sorted tonight, if you find when you put your POPLA code in right now when you read this, that it doesn't reject it.

    Tell us, is your POPLA code not rejecting when you put it in (you can then close the page). If it's active, get yourself an example from the NEWBIES thread and adapt it on a word document (obviously changing the company name to PPS and making sure you've chosen a relevant one for a P&D car park). Fling it here for urgent tweaking tonight, URGENTLY, if your POPLA code is working today.

  • I have just put my POPLA code in their site, and it worked ! - my code was NOT rejected.


    I will find the most suitable letter from NEWBIES and ask your advice before I post it.

    Dear All


    I have put my POPLA number, and it is STILL working. I followed POPLA website to appeal.


    1. I chose 'Other' section. - my appeal is more than 28days although my POPLA number is still active.


    2. Unfortunately, I had to put all my details. - I do not think you can skip the process of filling your details as it does not allow to move next steps. (PPS knows my details as I did not know that I could not tell my details at all to appeal.)


    3. Now I have 2000words space to explain the reasons for appealing against the parking ticket. Please read my explanation as below and advise. My mother tongue is not English, so it may be unclear writing. I apologise in advance.


    " I parked my car at Didcot Station car parking to go to London, and I put the valid ticket on the dashboard. I appealed to Premier Parking Solutions Ltd. (PPS) very next day by e-mail together with the photo of my valid ticket and train station payment as the proof. I asked PPS to provide THEIR photo proof since my first appeal. However, I never received it, but they sent the second letter without their proof, which offer me the extended of payment due. I requested PPS to send me their proof immediately, however they did not send it and not replied. Now, finally,I received their photo which shows my ticket is face down. As I have very clear evidence that I parked my car and bought the ticket & train ticket, I believe that PPS should consider their charge. Certainly, their demands with extra charge is not acceptable as their photo proof letter is dated 4 days after the due, which caused the delay of my response. I requested their proof in my every response to them since my first appeal, and PPS took nearly one month to provide it. "


    I am not sure if it is OK..... Please advise.

    No, you will lose. Do not use the 2000 word option.

    Post number 3 has links to examples to copy from. Put one here but change the company name to PPS and see what advice you get tonight. I am worried your POPLA code may not work in the morning.

  • Thanks for your advice. I could not find other option except "2000 words" box on their site. I attached my photo evidence, and hope they come back with some hope.

    I will report you what happened.

    Looking back my experience, how Premire Parking Solutions Ltd puts POPLA number is very difficult for the driver to understand. (At least, I did not know until I asked advice from all of you.). What I mean is it is easily misunderstood that POPLA number is THEIR registered number, not the third party whom the drivers can seek their supports.

    This means that the drivers loose the good chances to win their cases.

    I am sure how you present your cases to POPLA is the key, but not be able to pick up what POPLA number means is the most important.

  • Thanks for all your supports. I am so sorry that I missed the chance to seek your advice on time. I am new to this forum and did not understand it very well.


    I may loose my case, but I am really happy because I managed to send appeal to POPLA as your advice. - that means I do not keep sending e-mails to Premier Parking Solutions.


    Hope more people know about this forum and POPLA.

    Dear All


    I withdraw my case as my 'fight against Private Parking Company' turned out that the result of misunderstanding each other, and I do apologise all of you.


    The reason why I decide to fight for my parking charge was....


    Premier Parking Solutions Ltd. (PPS) did not present their photo proof although they clearly mentioned in their letters. In addition, they never response my requests of their photo proof, but they sent their photo proof finally when they demanded the full charge. That made me to believe that PPS had planed to charge full amount from the beginning and I decide to fight against their dishonesty.


    However.....


    When I printed the letters from PPS, I found that their photo evidence was sent by e-mail with their first letter, which were not shown on my screen at all. (POPLA requested me to send all communication with PPS by post. It was the first time for me to print the letters from PPS.) Unfortunately, PPS never bother sending their photo evidence although they sent their letter by post twice and had my flood of e-mails as their screen shows that 'evidence sent'.


    Although I have evidence that I paid parking fee, I accept my fault that I broke the rule. (The ticket was face down, and the rule is clearly written next to the ticket machines.)


    I have requested Premier Parking Solutions Ltd. to consider their letter layout so that their photo evidence is clearly shown from the beginning. They also accept their fault as they did not send their photo evidence although they sent their letters by post, and they accept discount charge even it has been more than 28 days.


    Thank you very much for all of your help and I apologise that my fight started because of the technical problem and misunderstanding each other.
