OP I think you're worrying about nothing. I'm sure your friend will have his wallet to pay for whatever he eats.
I would never go on a road trip if I never had the money for accommodation and food.It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
I probably would, if I was alone and the friend was alone.
Definitely if I was attending as part of a pair, and the friend was alone; and probably if it was two couples.
The only scenario I wouldn't be paying is if there were two of them and one of me.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
