EE Signal Box advice please
Options
I have a problem with my mobile phone service with Orange through EE and wonder if the EE Signal box can help me.
We are in a remote area but the local mast is in sight and nearby. Unfortunately it seems to suffer regular outages that mean I have no mobile service for up to 12 hours. I assumed that the signal box can only boost a weak signal so if this mast is not operating, there will be no useable signal and it will not be of any help. Please can someone confirm for me.
The other issue is my phone - its a Tocco Lite GT-S5220 that is a 2G phone although it runs on a 3G sim card. Can anyone tell me if the Signal Box that I believe is 3G will work with my Tocco Lite.
Thanks
Rob

Thanks for the reply diamonds
So it looks like this may be the answer to my signal issue down here in Devon.
Can anyone confirm whether or not the EE Signal box will work with my Tocco Lite 2G phone. EE reckon it will because it runs on a 3G card but I don't want to go out and buy a box to find that this is not correct.

You don't need to buy a signal box. Speak to EE Tech Support who will arrange for a box to be sent for no charge. They'll have to run through a diagnostic with you but that's just to confirm your signal problems. P&P may be charged but you won't be charged for the signal box itself.0
