For some reason, it's hides on the front page of the forum here.

But that's pointless unless I want to mark the entire forum as read, which I don't! Once I've checked out the threads I'm following, then I move on to the entire forum, usually by way of clicking "new posts", then scan the pages for a topic of interest.

I was not suggesting an ideal solution.

As said, the marking of read threads works here on any browser I have tested it with, so seems yours is perhaps not setting something with that cookie properly.

    What browser/version are you using?

Have you tried clearing all the moneysavingexpert.com cookies, or specifically the bbthread_lastview one?

That would reset everything to unread, but can often clear a problem writing/reading info on the cookies as well.

You can clear the moneysavingexpert.com cookies if you still have this problem.

Assuming standard default browser in use.

Settings, Safari, Advanced, Website data, Edit, Show all sites, tap the red minus next to forums.moneysavingexpert.com, Done

Thanks but I don't use Safari. I predominantly use Chrome and occasionally Firefox or Adblock browser, depending what I'm browsing.
