Still think they are "militant and difficult"

I didn't update it because I forgot about it to be honest, I have quite a busy life.
Actually I'm a bit surprised, they sent me a cheque with no breakdown of why / what or how they worked it out, just a generic paragraph. Still very happy to had a payment of £947.:staradmin :staradmin Emergency Fund @ £300 Non CCJ Debts x 7 @ £2782/ £4055 PAID! CCJs x4 Unpaid Total @£5103 Christmas 2016 Fund @£116 Holiday Fund £300/ £550 Wedding Fund Goal: £2500 /// Total Remaining: £9409 / £12,900 (£3498- 27.11%Paid) :staradmin:staradmin0 -

What you describe sounds like an auto-payout without any investigation. The fact that they paid up after only six weeks only supports this view.
If it truly concerns you, write and request a proper breakdown.0 -
They should provide a breakdown, in case you need to reclaim the tax paid on the 8% pa interest. Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0

As they weren't regulated then is there much point attempting to claim back? I know I can give it a go, but I am assuming that they will just flat out say no because they can. Has anyone had anything from them refunded prior to 2005 accounts?
Thanks in advance.
Little woods is dealt with by Barclaycard, they order the statements when the complaint is received so go ahead and put your complaint in. I work there so this advice is accurate.0 -

Littlewoods have contacted me saying I had ppi from 1992-1999 but still waiting for final results.
I telephoned them today and the advisor was not giving full info.
I did ask how many accounts are being investigated as I claimed for all the different accounts like empire stores etc. He wouldn’t give me any answers to my questions and wouldn’t tell me if they would add interest too. Basically a waste of time.
Just have to wait for letters0
