PePiPoo Site Down?

Since yesterday evening PPP seems to be down. All I get is the message "IPS Driver Error". Is anyone else getting the same message?

I think this as happened before with hacking attacks on this site.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

  • Same here, 2 browsers. Thought it was just me being "tired"

If you aren't sure whether it's "just me" you can check out a site that seems down here:

All that tells you is whether the site responds at all. The fact that the underlying service is dead (i.e. no forum content delivered) passes it by. So, not a particularly good test.
[For the geeks who know about IT Service Management, this demonstrates the big difference between a "service" being available rather than an individual component in the chain delivering that service.]

Thanks but at 11pm I'll just wait till next day. Most other sites worked so it was pepi's got a problem. At one point I thought MSE was down as well, but that might have been Friday Night Fever!

(All the rest of pepi seems to work, not the forums.)

Clearing the cache has enabled me to get to the login i.e. the main forum page. There are a lot of guests and no pages appear to have been updated since around 23.30 last night. As suggested above I too had difficulties getting onto MSE during the night at several points but don't know whether that was due to server maintenance my being knackered or something more sinister. It wouldn't be the first time.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Ive also been getting the IPS Driver error message from last evening until now .What I find odd is that emails I get saying ne topics have been posted are still appearing in my mail programme right up to a few minutes ago so I dont understand that ..how are these folk managing to post new topics . I thought admin might have posted something by email ( or in here )but perhaps the members database cant be accessed by them either .!!!
  • I thought it an idea to email them in case they did not know it was down, no harm if they did know.
