Dawn - Yes, the postage would be horrendous! I've seen the cast iron pots in Sainso's but have never really checked them out as assumed they were Le Creuset......& thus Le Expensive. Will have a look next time I'm in Lincoln. Thanks. And will defo check out lamb boxes. mr f goes off on one every time he sees New Zealand lamb & Danish bacon in the supermarket, & I'm getting as bad!
By the way, I'm not a dog lover by any means, but the tales of what conditions your dog will & will not walk in make me laugh every time. i.e It's too wet, it's too cold, he doesn't like his coat, there's a leaf in his fur, etc. Though he does sound like he's a deal less trouble than my cat!
f x2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
2) To read 100 books (36/100) 3) The Shrinking of Foxgloves 6.5kg/30kg

See the range at the above link - they are usually about half the list price when they have a sale on (and they still have them on sale at our local branch). Mine were bought in sales years ago with birthday money etc, and I have also found them useful for presents for DDs etc. They are good quality and look as though they would last forever. If you get them in the sales you might have to be not too fussy which colour - mine are cream, which they always seem to have lots of.
Pup 'less trouble' than your cat? Hmm, not sure about that, especially in combination with baby GD. I have to deal with the pair of them again tomorrow.....0 -

Woo hoo! Not only have I done everything on my list - including the run :j:j ok, I still have boring work to do but will do an hour in a minute. I have exceeded my goal by doing 3 things from January list and I ended up running 5k without stopping for the first time EVER:D I was meant to do a plan thing from my running plan but quickly realised it wasn't going to work as it was a distance rather than time one, so I thought I'll just run for a bit and 5k later I stopped. I'm well chuffed. Off to finish tea and do a bit of work. Catch you tomorrow. J X0 -

It's been another busy day at work on the second day of my course. It was so interesting though and I'm looking forward to working on this module (even though I have to have my teaching observed ). I really struggle getting up in front of people and presenting, so I'm hoping this whole experience will help with that
Not a NSD as I had to buy dog food (and lunchmust do better next week)
Banking checked and spending diary updated. I have £13 to last until Thursday, which will go on fruit and veg at Aldi. January is one long month as we get paid a week early in December
Payslips were online today so I finalised my budget for next month
Had another RSVP today so updated the wedding guest list
OH has a friend who is a chef and he is going to do our wedding cupcakes/ cake for "free" because OH looks after his computers. He brought some trial cupcakes round - lemon curd and vanilla with edible glitter!! So pleased with them. The money saved from the budget means we can now afford to pay the church organist :rotfl:
Cut open my tube of moisturiser - still loads left in
FPL to do

DawnW, thanks for the mutual support regarding the credit file thing. It's all rather odd but I am glad I no longer feel the need to have to borrow loans and run up credit cards.
Have a wonderful weekend folks.:TMoney scares me.
