Need Help with Plusnet

Been with PlusNet for year that expired a month ago. They are not giving me anything back no incentive but charged me £25 more this month they said my contract ran out but I was unaware of it.

Would it be possible to get my phone line cut off as I do not want to keep paying them that amount. Also it will take a new provider 2 weeks to sign on with them and get going.

As I have no contact with PlusNet if I am cut off from them will I be able to sign back up with them and get cash back. If not best I can go with another supplier. I do not use landline that much and have mobile plus I maybe away for a week or 2 soon.

Any help would be appreciated. :T

  • As you've said you're no longer in minimum term with Plusnet, you can have your services with Plusnet disconnected.
However you would loose the phone number and be liable for a disconnection charge.
I believe the current notice period with Plusnet for disconnection is 30 days so you would be charged up till you have been disconnected.

Have you asked them if they have any offers for existing customers? Also have a look at offers with other suppliers and through the cash back sites.

(PlusNet if I am cut off from them will I be able to sign back up )
Depends upon the PN definition of a new customer .

Why do you want your line disconnected why not move to another supplier .If you sign up with another supplier now then you will pay PN current charges to switch over date .But before the switch actually takes place PN are likely to offer you a deal to stay .

    Bundles are usually cheaper .
No contract then usually more expensive .

Your contract does not expire, it continues until you give 30 days notice. Your discounted price presumably expired at the end of the minimum term.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
