POPLA Appeals - how long do POPLA get to make a desicion?

Hi All
i submitted my appeal to POPLA on the 10th October,
i've called and emailed to chase several times over the last 3 months or so, each time to be told that an assessor will get to it soon, but the parking operator did not submit the case file within the deadline
its now mid january, and i've still not heard anything
on the appeal tracker, all its said since October is: POPLA Assessment in progress
Operator Information and Evidence
Submitted 01/01/0001
The operator will send the evidence independently
any ideas?
thanks

It's all going very slowly, they seem to be spending their time currently trying to get their heads around Beavis. Perhaps they're realising that this isn't going to be the easy number the BPA sold them.

State that you wish to complain about the time taken, and as the parking operator has not supplied any evidence this should be a cut and dried case which will only take a few minutes.
You therefore wish to bring this to the attention of the scrutiny boardDedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -
Did you actually get an evidence pack at all?
If not, then do as hoohoo says - and also email POPLA using info@popla.co.uk wit the 10 digit POPLA code and your name/PPC name in the heading subject line, to put it on record that you have not had the evidence pack, to stop them rolling on with the decision in case they've had their copy.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Hi Coupon-mad, i sent this on the 5th Dec by email to complaints@popla.co.uk,
"Hello,
I submitted an appeal on the 10th October 2015, with code XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I have since called 3 times asking for an update, and was told that you were yet to receive the case file from XXXXXXX parking enforcement, and that their deadline for submission was the 23rd November.
Having chased twice, and been told that they have missed the deadline, and that the case had been passed to an assessor, I have still not received an update.
As they have missed the deadline, can I assume that the parking companies PCN is now void?
Regards"
this was repled to the next day from Info@popla.co.uk just saying i'll be notified via email as soon as a decisiion has been made
i called again yesterday, to be told they are now reviewing Octobers appeals, and that i should hear back in the next 1-2 weeks.

Which PPC is this?
That code seems to be an IT error either the fault of the PPC and/or POPLA....
PPA have had similar cases where evidence has not been sent0 -
is it a good idea to post the company? dont they trawl these forums?0

We can give you a better idea if the PPC is a serial evidence pack dodger, or whether there may be some foul up if they normally submit one.
Have you checked your email junk/spam folder as sometimes the pack slips in there?
I wouldn't worry about naming them - in any case, most of the regular offenders appear here daily!
