Lazboy sofas are made in china so any spare parts or even new sofas have to be ordered and take a minimum of 12 weeks to arrive (often longer). It can also take a while from rejecting the sofa/repair to the report being written by the technician and accepted by scs. You then have to wait for the next stage of the negotiations so i fully understood how it has taken 3 years. I have been there although ours was 2 years and at that point i had had enough.

We are currently going through a similar thing... we ordered a reclining sofa and chair in January last year, it was broken on delivery but stupidly we said fine it can be repaired... in August last year it broke a second time and in November they finally agreed to replace it for something else (after I threatened to go down the credit card or small claims court route). They tried to deliver the new suite today (non reclining) and guess what... ITS BROKEN!!! So we have rejected it, and made them take away both the old sofa and the new sofa.

Imbeciles. Am hoping we can just get a full refund but I guess we will have a fight on our hands for that.



If I'm right OP, you have waited 2.5years for a fully working suite to be delivered, then a fault developed and you waited another 6 months for them to come out? They are so slow at doing these things and I'm sure it's just dragging their feet to waste time so your rights under law diminish.
