How do I delete an Avatar?

I was trying to set up an avatar, but didn't like the way it looked. Now I can't get rid of it; I can't even change it to one of the pre-defined images. So how do you go back to a blank avatar?

Click on 'User CP
then on 'edit Avatar'
then click on 'Do not use an Avatar' in the top section0 -
The 'Do not use an Avatar' text is not a link and does nothing. There is no User CP to click on, I click the avatar picture and select Your Profile, then Edit Avatar.0

Click on user CP
Then click on Edit Avatar
Then click on Do not use Avatar in the top section
and silly me it never occurred to me to say click on save changes.0 -
So you are on the new look forum, where the radio checkbox that should be there is missing?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Yes, I am on the new look forum and yes, the radio buttons are missing - but I've just discovered the reason. I am using the Maxthon browser. If I use IE11 () then the radio buttons are visible, so I now know that if I want to change things in my profile, I'll have to resort to Microsoft's abysmal attempt at a browser.0

Hmm. I checked that in Chrome, which Maxthon is based on - backend or renderer anyway.
Checking in Firefox I do see the radio checkbox.
So perhaps a Chrome/Chromium based browser problem?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Test on 3 Chromium/blink/etc based browsers.
Maxthon.

Yet another example of insufficient checking that stuff released actually works on all the software that people are likely to be using? :think:0

That's why I couldn't see your problem, I use the terrible IE11
If only you had given full details of the problem to start with :mad:0
