Email connection on TalkTalk

I was on holiday from 6th December until the 14th January when I returned to the UK
I am getting messages saying that my account was used in Netherlands and unknown places.using my tablet or mobile phone. I kept changing the password but no joy. I spoke to TalkTalk yesterday who tell me that the problem has been resolved but that it might take a day or two for it to be filter through. This is a problem with Mobile phones and Tablets The last emails shown on both is on 16th January. The problem persists and no matter how many times I try to reset my password I am unsuccessful.
I can get into my email account on my laptop which has got a saved password. I am not sure of what this password is. I am scared to try changing that password in case I lose the use of email from the the laptop too.
Can anyone give me any advice or information as to what I can do to rectify the problem. I found the TT representative rather off hand. He did not take on board that this is a problem and that I should just not use either the phone or tablet.
I would appreciate any information anyone can give me on this matter Sue

I called TT again who put me through to AOL UK LTD .I was told that the problem was cookies. She gave me a temporary password and then to delete the message saying my account was used from an unknown site I had to say yes .
Then logged in again I have also out the temporary password into my phone and Tablet . For now I can change this password but am going to wait a couple of hours so that I am confident that all is well
    Thanks Sue
