Finding phone no on Orange sims

On most sim cards you can see the mobile number, but on the Orange sims I cannot seem to find it. Does anyone know how I can do it, as I want to register for the free 30 online sms per month.

I believe with Orange you have to register the sim before it comes active and has a number. You can now do this online.

the mobile number is not on the sim, nor is it assigned one until the sim is successfully registered.

Upon registration, you will be provided your telephone number and your 4-digit security pin number (if activating via 450, or calling CS you will be asked to set-up a 4-digit pin)
