Le, you are in a tough situation there. I'm lucky that my dad deals with our tenanted houses (have 2) I just help out if needed but the houses are 2 and 4 doors down from mine so easy to mangae ourselves.
Another thought is to ask your current tenant if they know anyone who is looking for somewhere to rent.0 -

Hi everyone!
So LAZY!! This morning I couldn't drag my backside out of bed so ended up in a bit of a rush. Then I've been non stop with work stuff from then till now so I'm just getting time now to check in with you all.
Thanks for the start today Ally - your oh sounds like my kids in the kitchen. They seem to leave a heap of mess and dishes making a piece of toast or a bowl of cereal.:rotfl:
LaE - sorry to hear of your tenant troubles. I have everything crossed that something will work out soon.
Nice to have you back JoJo
So, today I havechecked banking and PAD to the Christmas fund
read Martin's email
rejig the budgets to hopefully survive until payday
full day of teaching
meeting after work
got dh to attend a mental health conference in town (where he got repeatedly fed and watered for free)
caught up with an ex colleague who needed some help with something work related

taken the kids to the free Young Carers club after work - they loved it.
had a quick look online to see what discounts I can get with the Max Card the kids have been given for being Young Carers. If there is any upside to dh being so ill it's that there is some fantastic stuff available for the kids that won't cost me any extra. :T

That seems like enoughHope everyone has a great day x
Pleasedwith my progress todaywill submit the meter readings & hang up the washing in a bit.
Popped into town and picked up some Aussie shampoo in Poundworld. Got 2 bottles for £2 so a saving of £3-£5. I use this regularly and at Christmas I bought some full price £3.50
Also picked up The Night Before Christmas book in sale for dgd's Christmas eve box. It was £1.79 from £5.99 but I had £4.75 on a gift card so it was free to me  I have now got almost everything for this box - PJs, slipper socks, a Christmas jigsaw puzzle all for £7.50 :T just want to get a Christmas themed dvd and I'll put in a bag of microwaveable popcorn nearer the time and it's done:D
dinner was pasta with a few veg lurking in the fridge, a yellow stickered stir in pasta sauce (reduced to 29p for what reason I can't work out as had months left in date. Wish I'd got more now as it was lovely!), a 1/3 of the 9p creme fraiche and a little grated cheese. Dinner for 3 with a small lunch size tub of los for less than £1
Did treat myself to a lush bath bomb though. I've liked them for a while and have bought them for gifts but never got one myself before. But today I wondered why I've been denying myself something I've wanted for so long that only costs £4.95?! I mean it makes 8 baths as well so hardly big spending! So have treated myself and am about to go and have a dip, will even stretch the looking after myself fest to a facial aswell

Morning Ally, thanks for starting us off - your description of the kitchen made my laugh, my DH can be the same, why the need to use every utensil whilst cooking (and not put in DW on the way) is beyond me :rotfl:
My list for today will again be brief as long day at work and extra long commute each way to drop DD off to childcare:
Banking and spreadsheet
Surveys and £co
Meals from stores, lunch to work
Hot drink in car for journey
One thing off my January list
Decide where my tax rebate is going
See if my mum can pick up order for customer
Text customer and tell her amount for above order
Washing drying on rads whilst on anyway, rest on airer
Keep eye out for replacement f1tbit they are sending fir DH for free
Run tonight (no 4 in plan) will likely go to gym though as wont be back late and I'm not overly keen running late round the streets as there are lots of unlit gullys.
Think that's all, will check back later, J
Lovely tea of bream tasted even better as it was ys
Just going to do the washing shuffle on the rads ready for the morning put the DW and wm set for overnight and then I'm off to bed, sooooo glad it's nearer the weekend than not.
Keep us posted on job front Princess Pea0 -
Jojo great to have you back, I've been wondering what you have been up to. You disappeared whilst I was MIA.
Everything on today's list done except light the stove as we were warm enough and setting the WM as there wasn't enough for a loadFashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

Cheers Everyone!
Can't wait to getting back to some balance. However, I have dd1 birthday to organise, a holiday in feb (all paid for with cash I saved for) works do & a few other bits. Will have to get everything budgeted. Also, as we me, working towards the next goal which is a 2 week holiday in Italy. Priced it up, now got to save it up :-D
Picked a new favourite saying up from my new pub. We do 9 pints get 1 free & when they have their free one they say it tastes better as 'they can't taste the copper :-D
Looking forward to catching up with how everyone's been doingDebt Free Since 05/09/2015Breath out the past, breath in the future Big Dreams Start Small0
