    I've learned to be positive over the years Beanie - I can either cope with it or think of the alternative- the alternitive is always worse than what I'm dealing with.

    I do have moments though....:(:think::p

    I paid my road tax today and tried to pay my cc but my card was declined....I spent ages on the p hone to my bank to find out why but they said there wasn't a problem ....so must be cc website. I wasn't impressed - I'll try again tomorrow. I might even go into the bank and do it when I go to the hospital, I'll see how I feel.

    I've had a phone all to go to the fracture clinic tomorrow. Hopefully they'll leave things as they are. As far as I could see from the X-ray it looks like a nice clean break and doesn't need any interference.

    Or will it be next month?
    Hope fracture goes as you want.

    I can just manage to pay it. It'll leave me totally skint but I'll not be up to much this month so I'm going for it. I should be ecstatic but I can't think beyond I'll probably going down to half pay next month.
    At least I won't be paying much out each month. So tomorrow should be the day :T:money::T:money: Lol don't want to count my chickens though - knowing my luck somthing will happen to stop me doing it:tongue:

    Just got back from fracture clinic....got to go in next week and have some bone that has detached removed!!!!:eek::eek: I've got a sick note for 6 weeks.
    He looked at my knees and got the nurse to put a fresh dressing on a tiny cut that isn't healing very well and had x-rays taken of my good hand which is totally purple. He was a lovely doctor....quite dishy too.....good job he didn't take my blood pressure :rotfl:

    With distraction of having to have operation - I haven't tried to pay cc yet. Off to try right now:money:

    Had a couple of bleugh days......my arm and good hand are painful if I move them around and it's taking ages writing on my tablet using my left hand but today I'm feeling a bit more with it. I managed to squeeze the toothpaste with my good hand :j:j it's the simple things you are for granted that you miss. I got dressed too instead of lounging in my dressing gown and nightie.....it's been so much easier than pulling clothes up and down.:rotfl::rotfl: I'm now going from purple to yellow...
    I go back to the fracture clinic in Tuesday morning and he told me nil by mouth after 6 am and he'll operate Tuesday afternoon - can't say I'm relishing the idea.
    We have been invited to a very posh do in a hotel at weekend - I still fancy going but dh will have to cut my food up...and help me get dressed.....I'll only be sitting once we get there - hope I can fit into my clothes as all I've done these last few months whilst Imobile for one reason or another is eat.

    As for finances - I haven't done a thing about it since I tried to pay the other day. The thought of struggling getting my old heavy laptop is too much and I know I could use a different appliance I only ever bank from 1 machine :rotfl::rotfl: the technophobe bit of me doesn't trust having my details in different places - daft I know. But that's me....as long as I do it before next week by the due date all will be good.
