Off in search of SA diary.....
Lol I should be sorting my wardrobe out - I've emptied the contents over my bedroom floor and can't quite face going and sorting it to put back....but if I want to go to bed tonight I'm going to have to face it.
Rather worryingly there is an awful damp musty smell - so stuffed with !!!! the air can't circulate ...... Dilemma - do I send all the clothes I can no longer fit into to the charity shop?????
Wouldn't know how to begin photographing and putting on flea bay or similar site and they're all cheap and cheerful nothing expensive in there.

Musty smell was not good - an old leather jacket from about 1980 of MrM's had been squashed next to the wall and has a lovely green fur on any part of it touching the wall....we never had any trouble with damp then had cavity wall insulation.......and wardrobe is a fitted one next to an outside wall.
I'll have to throw all sorts of stuff out to keep air flow. We've had an air vent put in there so I might invest in some sort of moisture catcher too.
But I've struggled today standing and bending so I've done enough for now - pushed everything to 1 side of the room and will continue tomorrow.
Feeling a bit annoyed I'd have had the whole house done in the time it's taken me to do 1 wardrobe with having to sit and rest every few minutes...grrrrrrrrr- if only we could turn the clock back!!

Sadly, we cannot turn the clock back~~ If only, if only :(

Just get rid of all you can.
    Then it is done.
Hope you get damp sorted out soon.
    Take care xx

Best done in short spurts with rests in between in my opinion. Is it damp or condensation? We thought we had damp and got damp proof people out who said it's condensation. We got a dehumidifier which worked well to get rid of the moisture. This was on an outside wall too - we were told not to put anything against that wall, easier said than done. Having said that, we do need the outside of our house repointing.

It's condensation - we had cavity wall insulation several years ago and had nothing but trouble since. So we have had lots of new air vents placed around the house, had hall, staircase and landings replastered as it was so damp - old plaster didn't help and I'm off to buy a dehumidifier when dh comes home. Went to see ds yesterday for tea and he'd just bought a small 1 from B&M for £30 which is quite compact and similar selling for £70 ish elsewhere. We had a B&M around the corner but I can't carry it or drive around there at the mo.....
Had a bit of a funny weekend, DH is concerning me a tad as he is really down and even tiny decisions seem to stress him out. I know he's had a few tough years- his mum was ill a long time before she passed away last year, his sister has got to him as she isn't coping and he is at a loss as to how to help her, plus he had the seizure and not driving for a year and this last incident when I was in hospital and he was very worried all seem to have taken its toll on him. I'm hoping it's just stress catching up and some rest will sort him, he insists he is ok......men .....wish they would open up and talk!!!!!

I've had several NSDs so pleased about that.
Upstairs - barring my paperwork box has been decluttered and is looking so much better.

Today I'm supposed to be starting the kitchen a cupboard at a time but so far have been catching up on here with 1 eye o TV.....will watch Doctors then empty my big cupboard. Getting into some really bad habits.

Got a GP appointment tomorrow so will see how long he gives me a sick note for. Physio coming out again on Wednesday.

I should be going to Christmas do on Friday from work and really want to go but since I'm off work don't feel I should. Think I'll get a taxi and take my sick note in tomorrow and feel how the land lies about me going for the meal......I've already paid my deposit so have £12 to pay. Fingers crossed x
