Waiting for payday on 15th - all being well I can make a payment and I should be under £1500- even with my big spends on the house this summer. Just need to check wages as 1st month back in September they have been known to mess up !! Wish I'd not packed my 2nd job in a couple of years back as there was always chance to get a few more hours in the holidays but I don't think I'd have the energy to do it now. But the end is in sight :)

Just done some batch cooking of bolognais and chilli ready to freeze. Been super good food wise all week as out of my sw target range and I don't want to start paying again. Feeling positive and hoping for a loss this week.

Hmmmph - even though I'd been good foodwise I maintained at sw and had to pay - did NOT like that as not paid since last Christmas - so going for it this week.........whispers next bit very quietly - except I went in Sainsbobs and bought a reduced cream choux bun......... was very delicios though and I'm still within points - just.

Took great delight in cancelling the cc I paid off last month - I'd overpaid too by £16.50 by the time they'd calculated interest - so that'll be heading back to my bank. Still not paid Mr T cc as not has chance to sit and do finances but it's not due until 26th so still got best part of a week to do it.

Had a productive weekend - tidied everywhere inside yesterday as much as I could - still waiting for man to put flooring down in the hall - he didn't show on Friday when he said and we can't get hold of him - I'm livid!!!! We've got to the stage where the floorboards have grown on us and I'm seriously considering taking the laminate back and sanding and painting/varnishing them... then today we have been doing some serious pruning outside - garden looks lots better if a tad bare. There's the elephant in the room though - or should I say garden - a bloomin big shed that needs emptying (again) and pulling down - can't face it so we keep putting it off LOL LOL LOL

Planning a swim tomorrow - not very MSE I paid for membership to local gym/pool and I haven't used it for ages - SO I've packed my stuff and planning to go straight from work tomorrow...

well..........not sure where to begin. I've not even looked at my finances for a couple of weeks. My minimum payment has gone out but it's been the last thing on my mind.
Just over 2 weeks ago I got a terrific pain in my back - to cut a long story short was admitted to local hospital who half scared me to death. They didn't know what it was other than some sort of a mass on my spine.........asked me lots of questions over several days about why I'd had surgery on my bowel many years ago and if I'd ever had skin cancer. I was flat on my back for best part of a week whilst they did scans, x-rays, blood scans and more scans. Including a couple of full body scans looking to see if there was a mass anywhere else in my body. They transferred me to another hospital that specialises in spinal and injuries and told me the local cancer hospital would probably have to be involved. Not a time i ever want to repeat.

Anyway at the 2nd hospital, they re-did the scans and luckily the mass had shrunk over the week - they decided its 'just' a bleed into my spine. I've lost some feeling in my leg and it's pretty weak and gives under me. I'm on crutches and its a game of wait and see if it regains all its use. But all things considered its a darn site better than we thought a week ago.
I came home Saturday night and have slept for England since. I'm waiting for an appointment from neuro physio department and got a sick note for 6 weeks.
Not what I'd planned at all. On the plus side I've not been anywhere to spend any money and need to go on line to sort things out but my get up and go has gone.................
