Wow you’ve achieved so much this summer. I miss the banter at the WW meetings. They’ve started up express workshops locally now but it won’t be the same. I think you can buy cardboard packing boxes from Argos if you can’t get freebies. Might be worth asking on a local FB group, I’ve noticed a few people advertise them for free round here.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Yes I’ll keep an eye on the fb page there are often folk getting rid of boxes. It amazes me what comes on the reuse and recycle local site. Dh is currently filling the boxes we got this morning with his train stuff which is housed on the shelves I can’t reach in the kitchen - I’ve offered to ‘help’ him organise it but for some reason doesn’t want me 😂😂😂 so I’m staying out of the way. He has a big cupboard too jam packed with ‘essential items’ - junk in my eyes 😂🤔😳😂 as well as shelving packed with stuff in the spare bedroom. I honestly don’t know how 4 of us lived in this house and that was before we had an extension. Sooooo.....my plan is to get the kitchen/toilet done then empty his spare room and decorate then organise all his ‘essential items’ in some kind of order.....I’ve seen several duplicates this morning - he hasn’t got a clue what he has and hasn’t got.....
After that we will do the same with my spare room which houses much crafty stuff I barely use these days. It might inspire me to use it or get rid of it.....I can’t really talk about hoarding but he does have more than me 🤪🤪I feel as if I’m juggling lots of balls in the air atm - I know I’m doing things but it feels as if I’ve got a long way to go.....lJanuary spends - £587.583 -

Just been out and got another 6 lettuce boxes - dh has easily filled them - that’s 12 boxes he has filled today 😱 I spent a tenner on a nice frying pan - I was throwing more omelette out that stuck to the pan than I was eating 🙄 it’s scary the amount of stuff we have.....

Another thought - I found those huge laundry bags useful when we had our kitchen and bathroom done. They’re normally checked pattern, sorry finding it hard to describe so hope you know what I mean 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Funny you should mention bags....I have lots of the stronger bags you can buy at the supermarket as I regularly forget to take my bags in the shop.....great minds and all that. Last night I brought some in and started emptying my pantry into said bags. I will look into the bags pictured though after I’ve used what I already have as it looks as if they’ll hold a fair amount.
i lost 1/2lb this week which I was a tad disappointed with.....but it’s a packet of lard ☺️ and I put it on over a sustained period so will loose it the same way I suppose. I’ve contemplated doing some SP (eating food from a list of protein and selected fruit and veg) days but set myself up to fail - might just do a meal at a time 👍I only managed 1 session in the pool this week as it was closed at the beginning of the week and I cancelled my swim after my aqua aerobics. I’m wondering if I might be better just swimming for now.
it has been chucking it down heavily but the sun has just peeped through...I’m debating whether or not to venture out for a walk with dh🤔😀January spends - £587.583
