Flight Compensation

Hi Guys,


Looking for some advise to keep it short return flight from Alicante in July 2009 flight was cancelled by Monarch airlines whilst they flown another plane in the next day 24 hrs delay. On return back from Alicante I contacted Monarch they informed me I wasn't entitled to compensation and offered a voucher off our next purchase of a Monarch flight.


It was only on reviewing this web site that claims could possible go back to 2005 we had 6 passengers in my group so on reviewing further information I thought it was a lost cause back in 2009 and didn't progress the claim I have emailed Monarch through this website last night and I have had a response today from Monarch explaining that unfortunately because the claim is past 6 years I haven't a case.

Monarch are correct ....over 6 years without a (court) claim means out of time.
