Sky Broadband-Continued dropped connection?

Getting increasingly worse-Have now spent 40 mins on phone on Saturday & another 40 mins today completing all sky 'fixes' but still dropping out-Not a happy customer.
Agent said consider upgrading to fibre but not sure why I should when I have currently free bb until July-Just not gewtting the service I would expect.
What next steps should I take-feel a little bit like Sky taking me for a ride!

What are the connections that keep dropping cable or WiFi .
    Post your router stats .
How is the router connected to the master socket .
Have you checked all your internal connections and changed filters ??

Also, how long have you had the problem?

I ask because a number of us had connection problems, before Christmas, which must have been due to Sky's adjusting the system, as the problem went away after a few days. (Same happened her, very briefly, a year ago, too.)
