Be* Value Broadband-£14/month

Options
Bethere have changed this package to offer more value for money in my opinion. :j

For £14/month the old deal, Be lite had:
  • A download speed of up to 24 Mb
  • An upload speed of up to 0.4 Mb; and
  • A 4GB usage.
Now for the same price, Be value have:
  • A maximum capped download speed of up to 8 Mb
  • An upload speed of up to 1.3 Mb
  • Unlimited usage
Remember to sign up via Quidco so that you can hopefully get your £24 back. This is how it would work out; Be will charge you a £24 connection fee. If your Quidco works correctly you will get the £24 back from Quidco, well £19 if you have not made any other purchases as you have to pay the Quidco £5 annual charge.

I've just taken the opportunity to switch from the full Be24 Unlimited pakage to their Be Value package.

Since having Be24 my connection has never exceeded 7Mbps never mind the 24Mbps (probably no helped by the connection not managing to negotiate ADSL2+).

By switching to Value, I save £10 per month and have no change to the service.

    Bargain!
  • Great news if you live in a Be broadband enabled area. Be* have now reduced their prices for the following products! :D :j

Be unlimited is now £18 per month, reduced from £24 per month

Up to 24 meg ultra-fast broadband Up to 1.3 meg upload speeds
    Unlimited usage
    £24 connection fee
    24/7 support hotline
    Free Dynamic or Static IP

Be pro is now £22 per month, reduced from £40 per month

Up to 24 meg ultra-fast broadband
Up to 2.5 meg upload speeds
    24/7 unlimited usage
    24/7 prioritised member support
    £24 connection fee
1 Static IP free, up to 16 available

Clear ALL of your cookies then sign up through Quidco and you could get £55 if everything goes well online.

Refer a friend (to get a months free broadband for you and the referrer) is only possible on these 2 offers and not Be Value!

The 2 offers does not have 12 month contracts attached to them, although you have to give 3 months notice if you want to quit. Express cancellation for these 2 packages are reduced to £40, from £50.

The website will be updated tomorrow.
  • Hi, i've looked at the links that have been posted with review of broadband providers. Be Unlimited look quite good and seem to be priced ok. Does anyone have any feedback on them? I've never heard of them before?? They seem to be part of o2?

    Thanks

I've been on the Be Pro package at £22 / month.since the 7th November.
My wireless router connects at 18Mb/s down / 1.3Mb up and the average download speed is about 6Mb/s and upload is consistently about 1Mb/s.

The service has been rock steady.

The reason I chose the Pro package was the ability to cancel at short notice, the unlimited download and static ip address (for vpn).

Looks like the new deals offer everything except the static ip for much less
  • I'm on Be Unlimited (£18 a month).. usually get about 6.6Mb/s down and 1Mb/s up.. so about the same as Donaldd.. i don't see the point in needing more than 3 months notice to quit - i'd be just as happy signing a year contract.

Solid connection, although the wifi router sometimes needs disconnecting / connecting to before the net will work
