    [STRIKE]Clean floors[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/STRIKE]

Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
[STRIKE]Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary) [/STRIKE]
Check your car is topped up with anti-freeze, radiator water, oil, petrol. Check your tyre pressure too, if your car is being used during the freezing weather.
    Level Three
Sort the utensils.. half melted spatulas are not necessary! Totally not ready for this yet... you can't make me :p
HHI.. then wash the ironing board cover! I think the dirt is what is holding it altogether, I best go buy a new one...
[STRIKE]Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round[/STRIKE]
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
[STRIKE]Clean oven - because I know it wasn't on the list last week [/STRIKE] The one thing I've actually cleaned since Crimbo, did last week, still sparkling :D
Check you have essentials in the car, if you are driving, i.e. chocolate, flask, torch, warm blanket and charged up mobile phone. We don't want you to get stuck in the snow.

    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:

    • Clear front path of snow
    • Check on any neighbours to see they are okay during this cold spell
    • Wipe out the fridge, make sure the drain is clear
    • Wipe over little appliances, wipe under them before putting them back
    • Clean dishwasher, cooker hood (if washable) and tumble drier filters
    • Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required
    • Wipe the front of large appliances

Narco- I love fitness pal! It really works for me! Knowing I can have treats as long as I work it off or be really good! It seems to work long term and helps when you have friends on there too!

I've used the Tesc0 one before and it did work for me in general, but 2015 was a carp year for fitness and weight for a whole bunch of [STRIKE]excuses[/STRIKE] reasons; erratic eating being a big factor so at least having to 'tell it' every day makes it a bit easier to even things out. I haven't dared find any friends on it.

    So far:
    - lounge/dining room ready to receive student
    - all house plants watered
    - dw on and pans hand washed up
-paperwork all ready for student and template set up on PC
    - emailed uni as I thought I'd left a book there on Thurs. Turns out I did. Glad it isn't lost but annoying as I need it to write 2 latest reports up and I'm not there till Wed
    - ventured into the cold, wet but sunny-ish garden to pick a few flowers. I've got hellebores, snowdrops, primrose and crocus out but the pond is frozen.
    - am now sorting out various bits of tax-type paper.

Hope hospital visits go well for various people.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Final council tax payment made for this financial year, credit cards paid, meter readings submitted, household accounts updated, surveys done, money into Christmas pot, budgets updated, purse emptied of expired coupons and new ones put in then a couple more rows of knitting done while I watched a budget video on utube. I've checked my emails and over 500 more permanently deleted after checking I haven't deleted something I shouldn't have done. I'd love to know where all the spam is currently coming from, over 100 in 1 day when before Christmas it was 20 or so!

While I remember I need to add backing up my phone to the laptop. Just realised I have pictures from Christmas on there that I haven't saved.

I'm just going to finish my coffee then go to the cash machine while walking Zack. This afternoon I'll go shopping and then collect books. I'm determined to beat DD this week on the number of steps. Last week she got 68k in whereas I only got 47.4k. :o
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Need to sort DS3's stuff for PIP assessment tomorrow.. came round pretty quick didn't it Mrs Wolf?? Yours will be much simpler than ours I'm sure.. hopefully both go smoothly!!! XXX

Delegating vacuuming upstairs to DS3 .. How the heck do you motivation a depressed 16 year old to do anything??? I cant even get him dressed!!
Oh, Piggers - I'd send DS3 a virtual hug, but I'm not sure he'd want that from some random old bat off the internet.
I do wish him all the best for tomorrow; I'll be honest, my biggest fear is that they'll take away my Blue Badge. Without that I am totally and utterly stuffed; I will be unable to go out at all apart from dog walking (done with the mobility buggy), as I need to use the wheelchair to go shopping. No ifs or buts, walking is simply not an option for me.

CY I hope today's appointments go well. Keep us posted when you feel up to it.

Dizzy hun, grab a pile of hankies/tissues, sit down, and howl your heart out! Never mind if DH understands, just getting it out will be cathartic. You'd be amazed how often I do this, and Mr LW never even knows about it cos he's at work at the time.

Plumbers are here replacing kitchen radiator. I feel like tearing my hair out, but that's not a good idea cos it's falling out in clumps as it is.

Not sure if any real Flying will happen this week - I shall have to vacuum up the Jessie-hairs at some point (Jessie went home this morning) but that may be the sum total of it this week.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Haven't done bad. Dw emptied n reloaded. Clean washing folded and wet washing hung up. Shopping put away.

Put les miserable movie on which I recorded a few weeks back whilst I put all the playmobil in the lounge away. Then dusted everywhere, sorted cushions. Finally hoovered in hall and lounge. It's been driving mad for ages. Had a little cry at end of les mis as usual.....

Started a pair of arm warmers knitting.

Going to go and wipe down dining table and kitchen sides before school runs x

DS3 takes any hugs going.. he likes hugs. Random old bats or otherwise... he just loves it.

They have massively reduced the walking distance for the mobility component I know.. it is totally wrong but.. if in doubt.. exaggerate.. think of your worst days.. can you do these things on your worst days.. and don't forget to get the name and position/qualification of the interviewer.. if they are not medically qualified you can argue against their claims.. they are not qualified to make a proper decision. ;)

Thank you, thank you, thank you ladies. So nice not to have been flamed for self-pity. I didn't actually have a boo, but DH did realise something was wrong and fussed round me like a mother hen, making tea and running me a bath and I feel much stronger and calmer today.

Tiny has been better today too - ATB, I think I would've snatched off your hand at the offer of babysitting yesterday. He was just awful. So far today, he's bitten one of the dogs' ears (luckily the older, most tolerant one), flung a plate on the floor and smashed it and has emptied the wet wipes all over the caravan floor. He refuses to be nice and is frankly, a thug. Small is a very different character altogether (and much easier TBH) and having Tiny is a real eye opener after such a "good" child :rotfl:

Have completely cleaned caravan kitchen top to bottom, only to have mud galloped through by the mutts . That was after I dragged them out of next door's field after they all cleared the electric fence and ran amok! Luckily our neighbours are lovely and were fine about it but it is very embarrassing.

Our limestone wall is coming along nicely and as a result my bank balance is steadily reducing. Need to pop out for more coffee for the boys working today, as have run out! I don't want them downing tools

Just ordered a new Transit double cab to ferry dogs and children around in as we've outgrown the Voyager. Will get dog cages fitted in the back, to keep them safe, but apart from us when driving. Quite looking forward to being a van driver - DH says I drive like a bloke anyway (whatever that means!?). Should get in the first week of March. Panther black, so SS thinks we are now the A Team....
  • Oh Dizzy I know *exactly* how you feel. DD is an absolute angel, always has been, I wondered how people thought having kids was tough. Then DS was born :rotfl:... I've learned not to let his incessant moaning upset me, and just to laugh at him instead. DD laughs at him too, then he goes off and has a tantrum in another room - The only thing that makes him happy is the iPad!

Keep calm and limp on my lovely - and if you're ever oop norf just PM me xx

  • Hi all

CY hope it goes OK. And Mumof2 glad things are clearer in your mind about the house.

Nearly had a meltdown at work this morning. Just started to feel really really panicky for no reason. Managed to keep going and not say anything to anyone but it was awful. Not sure why my anxiety is getting so bad at the moment, I just dont want to go back to how I was a few years ago.

Good luck with the PIP assessments. Ours was better than I thought so fingers crossed. Pigpen my DS is sitting upstairs in his bedroom on his own. He has voluntary work one day this week but thats it. If only we could find him a part time job that he could manage.

Sorry to be a bit glum. I have cleaned the worktops and tidied my tin cupboard. Off to wash the floor and wipe the cupboards down next.

Aww, don't apologise about being a bit glum - the beauty of being here is that we can all say how we are feeling and no-one ever judges or anything like that.

Do you know what is triggering your anxiety? Have you spoken to your GP. Do you do nice things for yourself and be kind to yourself because, you know, we're allowed to do nice pleasurable relaxing things too and not work our fingers to the bone. I know all about anxiety - it's one of my 'issues' but am finding by taking some time to myself, talking to people who understand etc it does help. I do take anti depressants but haven't had to take a Diazepam for ages now, even with all the current pressures. Thinking of you x
