Sorry about that - YES IT IS !

Told it was still 99p by OH (who had bought some from Asda yesterday morning) when I said it was now £1.09 in Aldi following a visit there in the afternoon.

Just checked the Asda receipt - £1.09

However 4 pints DEFINITELY 99p in ICELAND yesterday afternoon - bought it myself having declined Aldi`s and walked the few yards down the road to see what theirs cost.

  • Around here Lidl seem to be the cheapest for glace cherries for your baking needs at £1-09, compared to £1-19 @ Aldi. Asda was £1-38 and both Tesco & Sainsbo's were £1-40.

Ah, but £1.10 minus the 20% off that Sainsbo's regularly give me a voucher for = 88p. Handy if you're doing a weekly-type shop rather than just milk. ;) Neither Asda nor Iceland give me vouchers like that, but Tesco sometimes do.
FWIW Sainsbo's posted me two vouchers for before Chrimbo including £12 off £60 the week before Christmas.

Well that's certainly convenient as our Iceland is next door to our Aldi. But my experience with Iceland milk is poor, it tends to have a shorter 'Use by' date than the milk sold in Aldi.

My experience is the opposite, Iceland milk lasts 4-5 days past the date whereas Aldi/Lidl milk goes off before the date:(
I guess different stores leave milk out longer than others.

I'd been waiting to order the matching unicorn jumpers for my dog and I but since she mentioned them on This Morning, they've now sold out online :(

If LIDL is an option ..............

.... STILL 99p (as of 2 hours ago) for 4 pints of FULL, SEMI or SKIMMED

Also 6 pints for £1.45 - BUT ONLY SEMI :( (my store only ?)

... and ALDI also still does a 6 pint of SEMI for £1.45 IIRC (as of yesterday)

I don't think I could cope with anything other than FULL!

    Thanks
