Just had the ALDI oven chips in green packet. They were really thin and soggy , wouldn't buy them again :(

Maybe it's the way you cooked them as I found them to be crispy like French fries.

Oh and the Aldi stonebaked thin & crispy spinach & ricotta pizza was good, very thin base, very tomatoey.

That's my favourite pizza from Aldi and a fraction of the price of the Co-op ones.

Maybe, but I usually manage ok with oven chips 😁

We had a young chap begging about a month ago but not seen him, nor anyone else, since. Don't know if the store warned him off or he gave up when nobody gave him anything.

    Hello all

Can anybody confirm if Aldi do pasta bake sauces and if they are any good? It's the one area I feel I don't know well enough in there. I really fancy pasta bake and want to get a jar or two next time I go in there

To tell you the truth I have never seen them outside the 2 Aldi or 3 Lidls in my town.

But every Tesco Express in my town, there's 7 of them, has beggars and homeless people around them.

I made enquiries and it seems it is temporarily discontinued. I've never know it to be shoved aside for Christmas before. Esp in September :(

Plenty of jars of Pesto in my Lidl - both red and green.

We also have the beginnings of the Christmas products section as well. :(

I shall refrain from celebrating the third week of September with a slice of Stollen.
