SKY charging for unwanted extras

I have just noticed SKY are charging me £4.00 a month for SKY talk anytime evening and weekend extra when I don't use the landline to call out. They are also charging me £1.25 a month for having voicemail. According to my package details these would have only been added because I requested them, but I don't remember doing so. I am going to ask SKY to remove them tomorrow, but is there a chance I could receive some sort of refund because I feel I have been mis-sold?

You would have been sent notification in October that your package and price would be changing on 1 December 2015 and that if this wasn't what you wanted you could select a different call plan or cancel your Sky services.
As a significant number of people failed to read the notification or take action and are only saying something after the 30 day window has ended, Ofcom has brokered a 30 day extension...

The Sky 'anytime' package includes an unlimited number of calls to geographic numbers starting 01 and 02, non-geographic numbers starting 03 and mobile numbers starting 071-075 and 077-079 as long as each call is less than 60 minutes long.
Most people currently spend a lot of money on their mobile phone and make most of their calls while they are at home. It is worth investigating whether taking a better package from Sky and cutting back your mobile usage will save money.0 -

That won't bring any refund of past subscriptions, of course, which is what the OP actually asked.just phone them and cancel.
While it's true that there is an extended period in which to cancel, the OP was hoping to complain that added extras (not simply a price rise) were somehow mis-sold to him/her. I think it extremely unlikely the OP will be able to successfully argue this.0 -
The voicemail became chargeable quite a while ago. They did send out a letter, and I think I also had an email about it I think.0
