TSB 5% Cashback Paid

Hi All,

I've just opened a TSB to make the most of the 5% contactless cashback, the T&C's say the cash back will be paid the next month, does anybody know if this is on day 1, the last day, account opening day or a different day each month?

I haven't had my first payment yet, but I understand from reports previously on here that it's generally paid around the 20th, so towards the end of this coming week.
  • Ahh thanks, so I won't get any until 20th Feb then as I didn't have the account in December

    Me too :)
  • As others have said its towards the end of the month.

Mine is always lower than the sum of my contactless payments * 0.05. I don't get why but not about to phone up and complain over 20p or whatever it is.

Halifax pay the monthly reward as regular a clockwork, in accordance with the T&Cs, to everyone who has met the requirements in the preceding period.

This doesn't stop some people from panicking regularly at the beginning of each month as they haven't bothered reading the T&Cs. Similar happens for interest payments from Lloyds/BoS/TSB
