Sky not picking up signal since electric went off

  • There is no signal strength or signal quality at all, Lock indicator says 'not locked'
Is it the same on both your Sky boxes?

If yes, then that strongly suggests a Dish alignment, LNB fault or cable fault, all easily checked and fixed.

I suggest that you take Macman's advice above to:
call Sky and ask to cancel because you can't make it work and can't afford a service call-that always results in the offer of a free service call.

    Good luck. :)

Did you check the TV Source setting?

It must be correctly set as she was able to check the signal strength from the Sky boxes.

So I'm guessing wind or weather has affected the cabling or LNB. Either way, a cancellation call to Sky is the quick and free solution.
