Sky not picking up signal since electric went off

Is it the same on both your Sky boxes?milliemonster wrote: »There is no signal strength or signal quality at all, Lock indicator says 'not locked'
If yes, then that strongly suggests a Dish alignment, LNB fault or cable fault, all easily checked and fixed.
I suggest that you take Macman's advice above to:call Sky and ask to cancel because you can't make it work and can't afford a service call-that always results in the offer of a free service call.
Good luck.

So I'm guessing wind or weather has affected the cabling or LNB. Either way, a cancellation call to Sky is the quick and free solution. No free lunch, and no free laptop
