Bank Account not on Credit Report

Hi All,
I've been checking my credit history on Noddle and Clear Score and there's no trace of my bank account on there. Everything else shows accurately. I've had the statutory reports from Experian in the past and it didn't show on there either.
I've had the bank account for years.
Does anyone know why it wouldn't be recorded?
Thanks

If the account is really old it may have been opened before reporting to the agencies was the norm and hence they do not have your consent to do so.0

My HSBC current account opened in 2000 doesn't show on my credit reports- opened too long ago. You can request that your bank account appears- I'm sure I read that somewhere.I might be broke but happy but I'd happily not be broke!0

If there's no credit being offered, it's unlikely to appear.0

Thanks all. I do actually have an overdraft that's maxed out each month. The bank account was Abbey which moved to Santander. I can't remember what it was before Abbey.....possibly N&P.
The bank account has just progressed through takeover from one bank to another.
Just find it strange why it's not on my credit report.
Not complaining as the way it stands at the moment as it's not favourable but time will put that right.
The account is ages old as I say.Pay all your debt by Xmas 2023 - #39 £2,570.09 / £12,000.00 (21.4%)0 -
Accounts opened prior to 2007 did not have the consent given to report to credit reference agencies.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0

In the grand scheme of things then no, it doesn't matter.
I'm just curious as to why this would be when other people mention that their bank accounts show on their credit reports.
It seems that Molerat and Stclair have the most logical answer.

My bank accounts were also not on the credit reports as they were opened before 2007. I made a change to the account, upgraded it, to take advantage of mobile insurance and travel insurance. No credit was being offered but this triggered the account to be put onto the credit reference agencies database.0
