about a boy

met a guy just over a year ago from a dating site, we got on straight away, he looked slightly older than his photos but still gorgeous and utterly charming and we clicked
before I go any further, I will tell you that he is 'wired differently' to most guys and has mental health issues which appear to be more of a problem for him than me
he was surprised I wanted to meet him again and wanted to take me to the cinema which would have been lovely but due to family commitments he couldn't see me at weekends and I was just new in my job so could not take time off work to see him during the week
I think he took that to mean I was not interested in dating but we did spend time together at his home
but it was always me doing the running, not all the time, just occasionally, he has to be prompted with everything and I mean everything but hes so worth it
he has been by himself for a long time and I understand why, he is totally clueless
I was in a long relationship before and ive been enjoying the single life for a year now, ive learnt a lot about myself and my capabilities, ive learnt patience
I could easily go and 'claim' him but I don't know what is stopping me, don't know what I'm scared of
if I haven't made my situation clear please feel free to ask questions and I will elaborate

I'm confused.
Are you seeing this guy or not?
What do you mean by 'go and claim him'?0 -
Is this one of those drip feeding threads? Each post we'll get a snippet more until it transpires that the "boy" is married/ her long lost brother/ a cross dresser ...0

Your user name is half a person and you feel a need to be needed by this man. Are you one of life's fixers? You could be making a rod for your own back.left the forum due to trolling/other nonsense

If that's your criteria, you might just as well close the whole marriage and relationships sub forum now.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I wish it were possible to start a poll part way into a thread.
When do you think the OP will return to the thread?
Answer 1: Never.
Answer 2: In 2-3 days time, with the excuse they have been 'busy.' (With a few more drip-fed bits of information...)
Answer 3: Tomorrow, with the excuse they have been busy. (With a few more bits of drip fed information...)
Answer 4: The middle of next week or even later. (With a few more bits of drip fed information...)cooeeeeeeeee :j :wave:0
