San Disk Cruzer - USB 3.0 ?
Comments

Yes -it IS USB30
-
Sandisk's product page states the device is USB 2.0, so I can only assume that you have linked us to the wrong product. Check on the product and give us the model number.0

If the device is USB 3 then is the port (also colour coded blue)? Some devices will have a mixture of USB 2 and 3 ports, so make sure you're using a USB3 one, and not via a hub but directly.
If the port is USB 3, could be a driver issue with the USB3 driver, which you can fix easily enough0 -
Going on the assumption that it is USB2.0....
I've known nothing but snail's pace write speeds from Sandisk Cruzer devices - I'm lucky if I get an average of 1 - 2MB/s. No surprise that Sandisk never bothered to state write speeds for them on their website, they'd go out of business.
Bin it and buy a USB3.0 drive instead.0
