San Disk Cruzer - USB 3.0 ?

I have in my arsenal - a San Disk Cruzer 16Gb that I always assumed was USB 3.0 - but am now getting (slower than) USB 2.0 speeds out of it ..... (5-10Mbps)
Can someone please confirm whether it is dying or should I be getting faster from it ?

I seem to remember it being sold to me as USB 3 when I bought it from PC World a couple of years ago
And I am just transferring some videos using it - I have not carried out a "proper test" just going by what Win 10 is telling me !!
BTW the port IS USB 3.0 and the drivers are the latest.

Plug and play USB 2.0 interface

That explains it then - the speed is still rather slow - even for USB2.0 ?

Have you got the correct units?
    I have 2x Sandisk 8GB drives,
Both write at a shade over 4 MB/s
    2x Sandisk 16GB write at around 7 MB/s

ps Kingston 16 GB on usb 3 writes at 46 MB/s
    Move along, nothing to see.

Interesting that my Win 10 shows transfers as MB/s, whilst yours uses Mbps.

Are the gubbins you see in the plug part blue? They should be for USB3.
