Hi,
I am moving soon to a new house but it keeps getting pushed back and we have been told it could be another 3 month, i have already cancelled the internet but i am wanting some in the house that doesnt have a 12 month contract.
Can anyone advise a good one at a decent price?
Thanks

Why not just go with a provider that doesn't count a home move as starting a new contract- for example Virgin insist a home move is a change and restarts the clock - Sky don't and the existing contract just continues at the new address.
Presumably you'll want internet in your new home too so this would be the cheapest option.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

try uswitch?

Or if you don't have high usage, you could just make use of your mobile...0 -
The problem will be minimum term line rental. Try the PO. Or use a PAYG dongle.
Why did you cancel before you had a firm moving date though? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

the reason i changed is because i was paying £55 a month for BT infinty including line rental and also BT Sports in HD, so i cancelled the HD and the bill went up to £88 a month for some reason so when i contacted them they said this is what the new price would be.
I argued it and even spoke with the manager who gave me the same answer and told me it wouldnt be decreased, when i asked to cancel they told me the could lower it to £32 including linerental and a new hub but it would mean signing upto a new contract of 12 month.
The thing is were i am now (in a flat) the fastest and most reliable is BT but when i move (into a house) it will have full virgin capability which i will be ordering so i dont need BT anymore.0 -
So you don't want to lock into a further 12m line rental contract, as you will have no use for the line being transferred once you move onto VM in the new property. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Zen Internet normally do a one month rolling contract.
Because you have already cancelled, you won't get a normal transfer and may get reconnection fees and/or a longer minimum contract. It's worth talking to Zen, but I suspect you are out of luck and your best bet will be a PAYG mifi until you move.0
