Gas meters don't register in kWh.
Those readings are either hundreds of cubic feet or cubic meters, so that it the first question that you need to ask your son.
A quick guide is that if it is an imperial meter then multiply by 32 to get a near enough kWh figure and if it is a metric meter multiply by 11.
Then a simple calculation with give the cost depending on the suppliers tariff and region.0 -
Thanks I will ask him to find out if it's metric or imperialEarnings £245 in 2014:T thanks to swagbucks0

Ask him to send you a picture of the meter..
112 units is 1260KWH
You need to multiply this by unit rate and the daily standing charge

how do I put pic up please
So if for example the unit rate is 3.5p/KWh and standing charge of 22p/day and readings were over 30 days then:
1260 * 3.5p = £44.10 (Gas usage)
30 days * 22p = £6.60 (Standing Charge)
Total = £50.70

...plus VAT at 5%
Bless him for being so cautious with his money.:money:“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”
