will nokia 9300 run satnav?

if i get a nokia 9300 will it run tom tom satnav and the like?

Hi,

I am not 100 percent sure, but I know the phones that can use Sat Nav have Symbian 60 software and the 9500 and 9300 are Symbian 70 phones. Therefore I dont think its currently available.

PS Let me know if you find one that works as I am after a 9300 next month if the cheap O2 offers are still on.

Just to correct you:

Nokia 9500/9300 are Nokia Series 80 phones and uses Symbian 7 OS

Sorry about that...I meant Symbian 80....Honest Gov.

Can anyone confirm that the original Tom Tom software will work as this is likley to be much cheaper to get hold of. The specs confirm the new one Tom Tom 5 will work when its released
