    Hi,

    if it's a wooden pole it could be cut in half and then rejoined using a wood to wood dowelling screw,

    then position central support brackets.

    I wouldn't want someone sawing a pole in half, they may not be neat and tidy.

    I thought it would be easier to draw the curtains,then fold and send as a letter ;)
