A good prize for a 14 year old?

I wonder if you can help.
My son's task is to run a charity fundraiser event in his school.
They have come up with a great plan, and have calculated they will have £8 to buy a prize.
In order to entice people to buy tickets for this fundraiser they need a prize to entice someone to pay 50p to win it.
Any ideas of something that would suit a 14 year old boy? Maybe there is something really good in the sales.
We haven't had a chance to go out shopping these last few weeks so not sure what is out there and not sure what is a big hit with this age group
Thanks

Is it a boy's school? Just checking as that might affect answers. Hard as by 14, kids are really different in likes/ dislikes. Some sort of food might go down well!0

Would a local company offer to sponsor a prize thereby giving you a bigger prize.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

Twirl, Smarties, Bounty, Mars, Snickers and Crunchie are all on offer at £1 for 4 in Morrisons along with a few others. If you have a nice tin or basket knocking around, £8 would fill it up nicely with a selection and make a nice looking (if tooth-rotting) prize

Thanks yes it is a boys school. Thinking something edible might be a good idea.
Like the idea of a big prize from a company, that might be a good idea. Is there are larger value item such as around £30-£40 that might be a hit that he could write to companies to ask them to sponsor?
Thanks all0 -
Who is the prize amied at teens, boys, girls, teachers then we can work out what would be good.
Depending what they are raising money for it maybe useful make a few flyers or ask a few companies to donate a prize, someone may have a parent or another family member that could ask their employer to donate a suitable prize. It doesnt have to be much.
A few years ago I did a raffle for my ward and got loads of things from local companies. Mc Donald vouchers, Tesco vouchers. Vouchers for dayout at local attractions, Cinema tickets, free swim at lesiure centre, waterpark etc. Also lots of items like choccys and even a cuddly toy. A lot of companies I spoke to said they allow so much each year for local charties. Some refused to give a donation thats ok. I did however felt it was important to proove who I was and what I was rasing money for.0 -
How much is a ticket to a local football match? Sometimes as low as £5 for kids. Or Rugby.
I just really dislike chocolate being offered as a prize and wouldn't be too happy if my son came home with a hamper full of sugary crap.0 -

not all boys like sport.
I think most parents would be understandable about children winning chocolate, with a budget of £8 the options are limited.0 -

But not limited to chocolate. Somebody else has posted above cinema tickets, vouchers for local bowling/trampolining etc.0 -
