I love Jo Malone stuff too DIA. A little too much if I'm honest. I was looking at the amount of things I have today. All lotions and they're gorgeous, but SO many!!!
All sounding good and I'm pleased to hear no more toad talk too. I guess we all have those ugly feeling days, but hopefully you're back to being fabulous.

Hello DIA :hello:
I spotted you on MT's thread so though I'd come say hi and cheer you on!
Also, you mentioned you are a Bod** fan... are you aware that the Scop* charity shops have their seconds and samples? There are always a few in the shop near me, in the full range of sizes, and obviously much less than the original price. May be worth popping in occasionally if you have a branch nearby.

So nice of you to take the time to post and with such good news tooI had no idea my fave shop gave seconds/samples to Scope. That is very good news as there is one not too far that I shall definitely be visiting from now on. Thank you for the tip.
It's late now but I will pop over to check out your thread tomorrow (if you have one)
Thank you

Excellent, always good to encourage charity shopping!
I have a diary thread - hopefully approaching the end of my DF journey now, and adjusting my head to what happens next!

Hi DIA.
Glad you averted a tea emergency  I'm the same with coffee
I think there's a lot of people on this board feeling a bit low. Maybe it's the weather or time of year, or maybe it's common among debt busters as the relentlessness of paying debt back or saving, being frugal and denying ourselves things just gets to us. This is our life for months or years on end. I don't know, if we give up, then what? We have to keep going, keep plugging away, and hopefully we'll get to our goals.

Hello DIA
Thought I'd drop in some *virtual chocs* as it sounds like you could do with something to go with your cuppa
I think being a DFW just adds a bit of extra to the up and down that everyone gets - it's very easy to worry about it when anything else sets off. But the worrying isn't the real picture, and you aren't necessarily stuck for a particular period of time - you'll find new ways and adjustments to the path that works for you, and you are allowed to change your mind / fall over and start again/ decide that this months' budget goes on an emergency tea stash. If counting down monthly payments doesn't float your boat, then look out for something that does - killing off cards, counting percentages, breaking £250 barriers, anything. It is an enormous task - but you're up to it. You'll get there.

I rang in my gas and electric readings and I am ahead so I can withhold this month's payments and use the money to buy some underwear and shoes as I've noticed both are a little shabby and there's nothing more depressing than tired underwear and shabby shoes...
I walked to my health club to save money. A 45 minute walk followed by a 20 minute swim. I couldn't do my yoga class as I'd forgotten my leggings...:o
Bought fruit, sweet and sour sauce and foil £3. The sweet and sour sauce was 30p but I checked the ingredients and it is nutritionally sound 11% sugar but that isn't that bad compared to others. I'm going to add white fish so sweet and sour fish for supper
Had a free coffee with my 9 stamps
I have another tight budget coming up so already thinking through payday. I have a tiny food budget that I hope is doable as a new Al*i is opening and I plan on basing my meals around the fruit and veg super 6 which should be healthy as well as good value.
Bagged up some rubbish in the garden, broken tools and the like...
I had lots of stuff for the charity shop but I was walking so left it until I have the money for transport
I have apples. I like it when I have apples
3 good things
Evelina apples from Italy. Have you tried them?
I'm ahead with my fuel bills so rather than give them my credit I'm keeping it
I think there might be a £50-£70 credit on Friday. However, there might not be, but it's a nice feeling to be hopeful and I'll get through the next 9 days anyway
I hope your Monday wasn't too, well, Mondayish...

Evening DIA
I've never heard of Evelina apples but I shall look out for them. I've always been a Braeburn girl
Sounds like you've had a good day sorting things out. Nice work with being ahead on your fuel bills. Better in your pocket than theirs
