I think that's a good idea to plan your days to keep your free ones free. 5am starts are not pleasant, especially during the winter dark mornings but you get used to them.
I'm glad to hear your feeling a bit more relaxed.

Finding more time in my life
Inspired by Parsniphead’s list of repairs I thought I would take the same method and apply it to a problem of my own
Things I can do now
Stick to one supermarket no further than 5 minutes away from somewhere I have to be anyway. So MnS next to the gym (and yellow sticker all the way).
Use online to order basics that cannot be yellow stickers (once a month)
Go to the hospital only when I am in the city for work
Swim or exercise before work on days when I cannot go after
Giving up voluntary role. I have been doing it for over a decade, but perhaps it is time to let it go. I cannot do everything.
Use my lunch hour for the PO/Chemist/Health shop (stop travelling and queuing in these places on my free days).
Decluttering (fewer objects to clean and care for).
Things that will take more time to get in place
Reducing my days to 4 days a week
Find a fortnightly cleaner
Find a monthly gardener
Happy hump day as Muffintop might sayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

The difficult thing is it does still give me joy. I love it, but I just have to begin to let some things go and feeling a bit burned out and there are other things I'd like to do more of creatively. Choices eh?If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

If you are feeling a bit burned out maybe time to have a break from it & then take it from there.

So, a few things of note happened today:
I got home and the police had put a note through the door saying someone on my little road was burgled a few days ago. It suggested the obvious things like deadlocks, security lights etc, none of which I have. I am going to call the police to see if they can recommend someone to do this work and then I will use my savings to get these things done. Just as well I did not use this money to overpay debt
I need a new front door anyway, so I might get a quote for a new door now.
I feel a bit scared but I will use that fear to improve my security.
The other thing was someone told me she is leaving at work. That is 1 month’s notice and 2 months to recruit. That takes us into 2018, so I could request 4 days a week now. As it happens I have supervision tomorrow so I can ask…
Do you sometimes think it is scary how quickly things come back when you put them out into the universe? I still feel apprehensive but at the same time I think I need to do this. By February I will be debt free and mortgage free. I have a house to renovate but I still think I will be able to do this. I guess I just do it…
A low spend day. I ate out at lunch time, but a friend insisted on paying for my lunch. I did not waste any money on buying coffee out
I hope your day went well readerIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Bad news about the local break in. If you have to spend money to feel safe then do so.
On a positive note you have exciting times ahead. I hope it all works out hkw you want it to.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%
