  • Thanks everyone for the support. This is such a lovely space to be in when things are good or when they are not so good :)

Health issues and sick loved ones have been making life especially difficult. I have been feeling a bit vulnerable but I don’t wish to moan or spread negativity

I’ve been thinking of Beanielou having falls. I do empathise Beanielou. I have been lucky with my health generally but to be out in public and feel unwell is scary. This has been my reality for several days. Life is still overwhelming JoJo. Quite simply there are too many demands on my time so I let go of the lovely things that give me pleasure so I can do the ‘have to do’ things. It is partly my fault as I am struggling to get the work done for a course I am tutoring over the weekend

To improve my situation I have moved my TV downstairs so I can clean and cook whilst watching TV. I may sleep better too without a TV in the bedroom.

I am back to tracking spending. I spent £30 on food today. The plan is not to spend on any more food this week. Coffee was half price so I bought 4 bags. I treated myself to an organic, free range chicken as they are 25% off.

I am only using cash during October.

I hope you all got off to a good start this week

I am getting older and I have to prioritise. I am running out of life so I need to get a move on in creating the life I want to live.

Oh my goodness, this is how I feel. I don't want to carry on my life as it is, I want something different before it's too late. We ARE getting there, heading towards new beginnings :T

Sorry things have been a bit up and down lately but fingers crossed it gets better very soon.

    Wishing you a lovely week x :)

  • Hello Campers,

I worked out today with a trainer at the gym, and I could barely wash myself in the shower after, my muscles were so fatigued.

After the gym I popped into MnS and got £11 of flowers for £1.10p. I put them all in an old champagne cooler and they look so beautiful. I needed something beautiful. :D

I got frozen fish £12 worth for £3 and fresh cod and haddock loins £12 for £2.50. I’m really pleased because I love fish and it is so expensive.

I’ve spent £6.70 when I said I wouldn’t buy anything else this week but I think it was worth it

I’d like to say the house is cleaner and more organised. It isn’t, just as down about it but not motivated to clean up and declutter although I know I will feel so much better if I did. Maybe tomorrow.:o

Health-wise I have felt okay today so that is good :)

Hope you all had a good day.

  • Hello Campers,

I have been feeling sorry for myself and I need to stop the woe is me pity party. I am pushed for time, but I can organise the time I have much better and I will.

I spend 2 hours getting to and from the hospital for visits. If I only go on the days I am in the office it is only 20 minute walk away so I save lots of time and get an extra 40 minutes exercise into my day :)

On 'going into the office' days I can exercise before work. I need to get up at 5.15 but I can then go to the hospital straight from work. I can do this twice a week, so on my free days I can keep them for myself and stay close to home :) I will start this new pattern next week. I will bear in mind, my niece will not be in hospital forever…

    Today is a NSD :)

This evening I am doing the work for my other job.

I am feeling calmer than I have been for a few days. Could it be the exercise?

Dishes are being done and bins emptied but that is about it. Cleaning will be done but not today…still not motivated to stop living in a pit

I hope you all had a good day and if not there is tomorrow
