I made it through a tough day at work and then I taught my evening class. It all went well. I am thankful. It seems like the other day I was considering whether I could do it and now it is almost over…Roll on the end of the month when the college pays me :)

I got food wrong after all my planning. So after a salad at 1pm and no breakfast and no supper it is nearly 10pm and I am eating almonds and a piece of smoked fish. Guess who will be sleeping badly after that?

I wrote my official letter of the week and posted it. This one was to complain about my garden waste not being picked up.

I checked my bank balances. Not good news :( I had a few expensive outgoings in July: An Ocad0 shop/renewing garden waste service/some new clothes/A few IK3A items/train tickets. It all adds up…

I am going to watch QT and then hopefully sleep. One more day to go and then I can breathe out

I hope your day went well reader

  • There's one brand of potato bread, possibly sunblest or ormeau that is gluten free.

I will check it out. I might try and make a loaf using buckwheat flour and potato. How I miss good bread...

  • Potato bread is just mash, flour,an egg for binding and griddled. It was basically poor people food making use of spuds. So it probably would work with buckwheat.
