Advice on best cheap pay monthly deal

I want a very cheap pay monthly deal but don't want any cashback shenanigans so does anybody know the best place to look? Not bothered by texting too much and will only get occasional use so don't need loads of minutes either.

Any advice gratefully received.

I've seen the same deal with the Link for £7.50 per month but it's out of stock at present so I could wait for that.

If you are a virgin media customer then you can get a sim only deal for £10 per month with 300 minutes or 100 minutes + phone, again for a tenner. The offe is going to end soon though.

Hope you don't mind me butting in. How many texts do you get with this offer? I was going to trawl the shops tomorrow for a reasonable deal as my orange contract ends tuesday. I need probably 500 mins and 500 texts. Many thanks.
