My wife had a 2014 Kuga 2.0 TD and whilst it was nice to drive normally it was terrible in the snow, I thought she was joking until I went out in it and it really was bad, way worse than my 2.0 ST at the time with almost twice the power.
We only keep them 9 months as part of our deal so I cant comment on how it would stand up to life but it seemed well put together.

I'm wondering why your surprised? Why would you expect the Kuga to be any better in the snow? It's been shown time and time again that when driving in snow it's all about the rubber.

I have a December 2012 kuga since October. I LOVE IT!

I like it because it's not an overly big car, but the driving position is fastastic. Also with it being a diesel you'd think it would be a heavy car to drive, but honestly it drives as nippy as my old 1.2 fiesta and I average 38mph, I suppose if my driving was better I could make an effort to better this

I haven't had to drive in the snow yet so cannot comment on the handling, but we've pretty icy weather at the moment, and I drive all country roads to work and have no issue.

There is 2 very small things that are my fav things with the car, 1st is that the boot can be opened either half way to put in small loads or totally for larger items; the 2nd is the quick clear windscreen, I know it's available in other cars, but my old avensis didn't have it and this is my most favourite thing of all on days like today when the weather is so bad.

I bought a Kuga 2.0TDCI AWD just over 6 weeks ago. So far, I'm averaging 42mpg (checked on actual fuel used, not the car's computer) but that has been mostly town and distances up to 20 miles, with only 2 longer runs. I'd hope to improve on that as it does more miles.

First impressions, after 1500 miles? The seats are very supportive and comfortable, it is easy to drive, technology is good (though I've not had cause to use the Active Park Assist function). The back seats seatback recline.

So far so good, I don't have any regrets in buying it!
