The 'they' you are mentioning here are the manufacturer - not the seller, whereas the OP's issue is with the seller.
You were told why you had to pay the postage on your earlier thread.
Re-read the first reply there - in particular, this bit:A manufacturer's warranty is in addition to your statutory rights and as such the warranty provider can specify conditions - such that you pay for sending the thing back to them.0 -
