Looked at the first page, couldn't see anything obvious about decisions whereby a valid ticket was purchased and blew over, with number plate entered on the machine.

Unless its buried somewhere in the 97 pages!

You won't find anything that specific because it is irrelevant.

You got a parking ticket so you need to appeal it. What happened on the day has no bearing on the legal arguments you need to use in order to get it cancelled.

You won't find anything on how to appeal a ticket if you were driving a red car, or had 4 wheel drive vehicle, or it happened on a Tuesday. It's all as irrelevant as to how you got the ticket. The important thing is to appeal using the relevant template depending on whether the parking company is a BPA or IPC member.

Thanks I have read the thread in detail, would be great to see some examples in that thread of people whom have paid for tickets using their reg number and had appeals won/lost for reference if their are any, very helpful thread so thanks for putting it together.

I have appealed it, not incriminated anyone and only referenced the registered keeper.

Also scanned both PCN and my actual ticket.

Fingers crossed to see what happens next!

Did you appeal around day 25 as advised in the NEWBIES thread? The idea is to appeal as late as possible after a windscreen ticket so the parking company forgets to issue a notice to keeper which automatically means the company have failed to meet the requirements of POA 2012.

Start at the last page and work back or you are looking at old decisions from 2012 when the thread started. There is a search function in this sub-forum which works well - but the details DO NOT MATTER.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Seems to be a lot of shouting at the newbie on this thread.
