There's a smartphone I'm quite tempted by on Envirophone, but it's locked to Three. This webpage (https://www.three.co.uk/Support/Device_Unlock) suggests that you can unlock any device locked to Three for free. Is this true?

The form asks for your name and address, etc, but the phone obviously won't be linked to me previously. Is it possible to use this webpage to unlock any phone locked to Three?

    Buy a 3 payg sim, I doubt with no past or current 3 service they will.
    SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

    You mean just to show that I am a 3 customer? I don't want to move to 3 and the phone itself obviously won't be registered under my new name with 3.
