Problems with worldpay with and phone line

Hi all
I have a problem with my worldpay chip and pin terminal and payments taking ages to go through.
Things were fine until about a year ago when when I would put payments through and the machine would not be able to "connect to streamline" the merchant provider and it would reconnect a second time when it occasionally went through if not then it would try a 3rd time when it would sometimes go through or just cancel the transaction and say "unable to connect".
I've went through like 4 machines in the last year and they work fine for around a week and then the problem starts to occur again.
Last week worldpay sent me an upgraded machine which worked great for a week but the problem occurred again and now half of my transactions go through the rigmarole or reconnecting which causes delays. I troubleshooted the machine myself having spoken to tech support so much I know what they would say and it connects to the test server fine but other times it doesn't. I took it home and tested it and it worked absolutely fine indicating a problem with the shop phone line.
I called BT who said a test of the line came back with no faults and the machine must be at fault and it they send an engineer out and there is no fault with the line then they will charge me £235 plus VAT! Worldpay say it is definitely the phone line so I am stuck what I should do?!
Anyone with similar experiences?

Can you get a mobile/4G/WiFi unit instead of phone-line one?0

Best to ask worldpay to issue you a wireless GPRS terminal which will just use the sim built into it0
