Norwich and Peterborough USD into account

Hi

I was wondering as I'm struggling to find any clarity on this if it's still fee free at the competitive rates for any foreign currency to be PAID-IN to your account i.e. From PayPal, a cheaque or as a store refund as it is from a withdrawal?

Thanks in advance.

No, there will be charges and unfavourable exchange rates when receiving foreign currency into the N&P account, just as with any GBP account in the UK.

If a cheque is made out in US Dollars, it will probably be from a foreign bank - IF N&P accept it, you will get clobbered on bank charges as they will have to send it elsewhere to get the funds cleared.

It's actually USD that I have in my PayPal account that's the immediate concern.

I'm just wondering if I should use N&P or PayPal for the conversion rate back to GBP.

Neither is a specially good option... I had some US dollars in my Paypal account for ages, and eventually used them to buy calling credit on Skype.
